The Network of Organic Agriculture Researchers in Africa (NOARA) alongside other advisory and financial Partners made a presentation on contribution of ProEcoAfrica/OFSA/SysCom at the Joint PSC-Implementing Partners’ meeting held at the University of Ghana, Legon on 11th November, 2019. ProEcoAfrica & OFSA Comparative Research Projects Programme for the PSC meeting was held between 10 – 12th Nov 2019 at the Economics Department, University of Ghana, Legon, Accra, Ghana.
The ProEcoAfrica project on productivity and profitability of organic and conventional smallholder farms implemented in Ghana and Kenya in 2013 will be ending officially in December 2019 while the OFSA project complementing the ProEcoAfrica through sustainability assessments of the ProEcoAfrica farms will be officially ending in December 2020. Tangible findings of the two projects were presented by the Project Implementing Partners including Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FIBL), International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movement (IFOAM), Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa (FARA), International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA), University of Ghana among others
